Abstract:We propose a nonreciprocal borophene metamaterial consisting of a longitudinally separated array of double-layer borophene nanoribbons (BNRs) suspended in the air, exhibiting the unidirectional reflectionless properties at exceptional points (EPs) in the near-infrared communication band. Based on the coupled mode theory and the transfer matrix method, the transmission characteristics of light in the proposed structure can be effectively described. The internal loss and radioactive loss factors of the plasmonic… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
