Abstract: Background Lymphocytic hypophysitis is a rare autoimmune condition that usually presents during pregnancy and causes inflammation of the pituitary gland. Although the pathophysiology is not well understood, it often presents with headaches, visual disturbances, and symptoms of hypopituitarism.
