Unknown mucous structures of the members of genus Stichococcus Nägeli (Chlorophyta)

Abstract

Наводяться результати досліджень 26-ти штамів зелених водоростей колекції ACKU, представлених як оригінальними ізолятами, так і субкультурами депонованих у світових колекціях штамів роду Stichococcus Nägeli (включаючи 10 штамів, депонованих як неавтентичні культури номенклатурного типу даного роду-S.bacillaris Nägeli). У 18-ти штамів (включаючи 7 штамів S. bacillaris) виявлені раніше не описані слизові структури-колоніальний слиз, слизові капсули, слизові гранули та слизові ковпачки, наявність яких не узгоджується з авторським діагнозом даного роду. Наявність слизових структур у більшості представлених у світових колекціях штамів роду Stichococcus на фенотипічному рівні підтверджує припущення про філогенетичну гетерогенність даного роду.
