Abstract:Background: Incidental removal of the parathyroid gland is an unwanted minor complication of thyroidectomy and would occur even in experienced centers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate our clinic’s outcomes, incidence, and risk factors for incidental parathyroidectomy.
