Abstract: The human Integrator complex is a set of 15 subunits that mediates processing of small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs), and which later participates in splicing messenger RNAs (mRNAs). In addition, it controls the pause and release of RNA polymerase II (RNA pol II) at specific gene promoters in response to growth factors.
