Abstract:Endodontic infection in Diabetic patients gets an enhanced expression in periradicular tissues. Many histological and microbial studies report this. Nevertheless, clinical aspects of this relationship remain few documented. The present case report illustrates an acute endo-periodontal lesion with a purulent exudate in a 39 -year -old female type I Diabetic patient and highlights successful management of endodontic and periodontal infection in an uncontrolled diabetic patient.
