A locally interpolated regression (LIR) (Carter, Feely, Williams, et al, 2017) is created relating C anth to S, θ, the depth, the years since 1995 (Y 1995 , with a maximum of 10), and the years since 2005 (Y 2005 , with a minimum of 0).
