Abstract:Background Tyrosine kinase inhibitors like imatinib have become the cornerstone of therapy in chronic phase-chronic myeloid leukemia (CML-CP). However, the role of hydroxyurea (HU), a deoxyribonucleic acid synthesis inhibitor, has been less explored in the disease.
