Abstract

This study has been prepared within the UNU-WIDER project African Cities Research Consortium -the structural transformation domain. The African Cities Research Consortium (ACRC) is implemented by a consortium led by the Global Development Institute (GDI) at the University of Manchester. UNU-WIDER is a core partner, focusing on structural transformation in African cities.
