Abstract:Background: Psoriasis vulgaris (PV) is a chronic proliferative inflammatory dermal disease. Orosomucoid (ORM) is an acute phase protein (APP) primarily formed in the liver. Novel research revealed urinary orosomucoid (uORM) as a more sensitive, noninvasive biomarker of inflammatory activation compared to serum ORM (se-ORM).
