Use of B Vitamins in Pharmacotherapy of Tuberculosis: Retrospective and Marketing Analysis

Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive summary of research findings on the application of group B vitamins in the pharmacotherapy of tuberculosis. This study is grounded in both retrospective and marketing analyses, spanning from 1950 to 2024 and utilizing prominent scientific databases. The findings indicate a significant potential benefit of antioxidant vitamins in the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis, attributed to their antioxidant properties and beneficial effects on the immune system. The marketing analysis highlights the broad availability and popularity of group B vitamins in the Ukrainian market, enhancing the accessibility and economic feasibility of these products.
