Abstract:the global sea level rose by 19 cm, attributed to overall warming and glacier melting. Each decade since 1979, the area of Arctic sea ice has decreased by 1.07 million square kilometres, and the water level in all water arteries is consistently increasing (National Intelligence Council, 2023).
