COVID-19 pandemic obliged thousands of companies pertaining to all economic sectors to undergo the transformation from on-board work to working from home. Along such rush, the probability for companies being hacked incremented many folds. According to VMware cybersecurity strategist Tom Kellermann, quoted in Menn (2020), “There is a digitally historic event occurring in the background of this pandemic, and that is there is a cybercrime pandemic that is occurring” (para 5). In fact, Software and security company VMware Carbon Black declared during April, “that ransomware attacks it monitored jumped 148% in March from the previous month, as governments worldwide curbed movement to slow the spread of the novel corona virus” (Para 4). On the other hand, Anft (2020) reported that “more than 500 educational institutions, including colleges and K-12 schools, faced ransom attacks in 2019” (para 2). This paper uses a descriptive qualitative approach to shed light on the aforementioned subject depending on reported secondary literature about the topic, and offers an analysis to pinpoint weaknesses and barriers, as well as best practices to counterattack the breaches to cybersecurity in organizations. The outcomes serve as an eye opener for security officers in charge of the safety of organizational intellectual properties and stimulates organizations to adopt protection systems and safety practices.

This study examines the factors that affect the adoption of Location Based Identification LBI in the developing countries and more specific in Kurdistan Regional of Iraq (KRI). LBI has different names in different countries such as postcode in the United Kingdom and zip code in the United States. As a base model, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behaviour (DTPB) have been used to model the adoption factors of LBI in KRI. The latent variables used in this study are government support (GS), self-efficacy (SE), perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEU), compatibility (COM), Family and friends (FF), attitude (A), subjective norm (SN), perceived behaviour control (PBC) and behaviour intention (BI). A survey was conducted involving a total of 250 respondents. By using these models, the adoption of LBI system by the citizen of KRI has been proven. The results encourage the Kurdistan Regional Government decision makers to develop strategies that will lead to the adoption of LBI system in the region.

Today, many applications or technologies have been produced by every software developer. However, the success of all there is the decision of each user. Users have two possibilities to accept or reject a technology that is presented. The TAM model has been widely researched and undergone development and changes besides being quite reliable in predicting the level of technology acceptance in all countries in the world. In this study, we will recapitulate all studies on the acceptance of technology in the field of Education that handles online learning. The results showed that there was 51 article review publication were selected through some process of review. The period taken ranges from 2011 to 2020. The main findings show that there are differences in the models, methods, and applications identified. Since the TAM model has two basic variables, namely perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as a framework for analyzing the make and influence technology acceptance. In this study also provides information about the results of the identification of some of the gaps in current research and also in the future. Therefore, the results of a systematic literature review were able to provide a better understanding of TAM especially in the perspective of education in online learning.
