Abstract: Arboviruses such as Zika virus (ZIKV, Flaviviridae; Flavivirus) replicate in both mammalian and insect hosts where they encounter a variety of distinct host defenses. To overcome these pressures, arboviruses exist as diverse populations of distinct genomes.
