Abstract:Background: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) prevalence is steeply rising. The reported prevalence among adolescents ranges from 9.13% to 36%. PCOS affects various body organs. The features of PCOS include oligomenorrhea/amenorrhea, hirsutism, alopecia, anovulation and polycystic ovaries.
