Abstract:Many machinery parts working in contact with a fast-flowing fluid flow (e.g. turbine blades of hydroelectric power plants, valves, pump impeller blades, ship propellers, cooling systems for various units, etc.) are subjected to such type of wear as cavitation erosion.
