Dr. Buchwald finds an EWL of 61.5% in more than 4,204 bypasses [1] after 2 years of follow-up, and Salinas, in a group of 3,500 BGBP patients, shows a %EWL of 83.5% after a 5-year follow-up [11,12]. In our groups of patients, we have a rate of follow-up of around 70% at 10 years.…”
