Abstract:Aim:The current study aims to establish and validate a UV-spectrophotometric approach for estimating piperine in black pepper, commercial Ayurvedic preparation, and novel piperine-loaded nanoformulation. Materials and Methods: The UV-spectrophotometric technique was developed using methanol as a solvent. Piperine showed the absorbance at 342 nm. In accordance with ICH Q2 (R1) guidelines, the developed method was extensively validated in terms of selectivity, linear range, precision, accuracy, robustness, rugge… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
