Vacuum squeezing via polarization self-rotation and excess noise in hot Rb vapors

Abstract: We present experimental and theoretical analysis of quantum fluctuation in a vacuum field in the presence of orthogonal linearly polarized pump field propagating through a Rb vapor cell.
