Valoración de la escorrentía de las colinas de la ciudad de Portoviejo

Abstract: Portoviejo, capital of the province of Manabí, founded on March 12, 1535, is one of the oldest cities on the Ecuadorian coast. It is characterized by a stable temperate climate with an annual average temperature of around 24⁰C. The average rainfall for the years 2000 to 2009 is 596.20 mm per year, the wettest years are 2000 with 733 mm and 2008 with 823 mm; while the driest are 2001, 2003, and 2009 with rainfall below 500 mm.
