Abstract:Forecasting future wind electricity generation requires diverse methods and tools to estimate potential output at specific locations. This study utilizes historical meteorological data and simple models at particular sites, along with past electricity production records from selected wind farms. The interannual and decadal oscillations of wind energy production at the grid level are computed. The large‐scale, long‐term energy storage needed to achieve dispatchable electricity, addressing generation variability… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
