Abstract:We investigate the electrical properties in ceramics, focusing primarily on the conductivity mechanisms crucial to bio-electrets' service life. A biocompatible ceramic composite of varying concentrations of SrTiO 3 (ST) and Ca 10 (PO 4 ) 6 (OH) 2 (HAP) is developed. By X-ray diffraction, we establish the microstructural and phase evolution of the bio-composites. The crystallite sizes are found to increase with the increasing concentration of ST in the composites. The composites' micrograph reveals the presence… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
