Abstract: New cocrystals and a salt–cocrystal intermediate system involving the antifungal drug flucytosine (FCY) and various coformers including caffeic acid (CAF), 2-chloro-4-nitrobenzoic acid (CNB), hydroquinone (HQN), resorcinol (RES) and catechol (CAL), are reported.
