Variation in yield attributing traits and genetic parameters estimates of some advanced promising lines of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) grown under shade conditions

Abstract: Efforts to develop upland rice need to be supported by plant breeding programs by assembling superior upland rice varieties. Eight advanced promising lines developed through a hybridization breeding program and two check varieties were used to study. The study conducted in Langgea Village (4°3’24”S and 121°27’59”E), Ranomeeto District, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi.
