Abstract:BACKGROUND AND AIMSTo date, little is known about the hemodynamic consequences caused by liver cirrhosis, especially at the microlevel. To gain more insight in the vascular deterioration during cirrhogenesis, accurate 3D reconstructions of the hepatic circulation are a necessity.
