Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis in Inflammatory Bowel Disease: A Two-year Retrospective Study of Patients Presenting With Inflammatory Bowel Disease to a Community Hospital

Abstract: We set out to determine the rate of pharmacological venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis among patients admitted with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and indirectly compare it to national trends.
