Abstract:Upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) exert on emitting
photons in
the visible or ultraviolet range after excitation with near-infrared
by upconversion. With the rising need for precise diagnosis and less
invasive therapy, bioimaging probes with high signal-to-noise ratios
and low intrusive therapeutic approaches are crucial to elevating
the medical level. The exclusive characteristics of prolonged lifetimes,
sharp emissions, broad antiStokes shift, and almost insignificant
photobleaching make UCNPs attractive ca… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
