Very Efficient and Rapid Catalyst-free One-pot Three Component Synthesis of 2,5-Dihydro-5-imino-2-methylfuran-3,4-dicarboxylate Derivatives Under Ultrasound Irradiation

Abstract: We report a fast, efficient, and facile route for the synthesis of 2,5-dihydro-5-imino-2-methylfuran-3,4-dicarboxylate derivatives from the isocyanide, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylate and acetic anhydride under ultrasound-assisted conditions. Utilization of easy reaction conditions, very high to excellent yields, and short reaction times makes this manipulation potentially very useful.

“…ethanol at room temperature to afford Spiro[indoline‐3,2′‐pyrido[2,1‐ b ][1,3]oxazine]‐3′,4′‐dicarboxylate derivatives in excellent yields. Dialkylacetylenedicarboxylates (DAAD) are very useful reagents for the construction of different organic frameworks and especially heterocyclic scaffolds [37–39] . To the best of our knowledge, this new methodology presents the first example of an ultrasound‐promoted expeditious and efficient multi‐component approach for the preparation of diastereoselective Spiro[indoline‐3,2′‐pyrido[2,1‐ b ][1,3]oxazine]‐3′,4′‐dicarboxylate derivatives.…”
