Abstract:This work is focused on biologically active neat amyl acetate and its solutions in ethanol/heptane. According to the experimental results, when the concentration of amyl acetate in the amyl acetate-ethanol solution decreases, the additional band appears on the low-frequency side. The primary reason for the formation of such additional band is the intermolecular hydrogen bonding between amyl acetate and ethanol.
