Virtual global classroom: Multicultural experience from home

Abstract: Medical students often participate in educational activities in other countries, where they volunteer at a local elderly residency or gain valuable experience in a clinical rotation. These experiences contribute to their service in multicultural communities. The pandemic translated to a lack of cross-cultural experience, a critical problem that needed to be solved.
