“…Nowadays, the optical properties of both organic and inorganic compounds [27,28,29] have significantly been investigated by the experimental studies supported by the computational tools, because to look for the availability of using in optoelectronic devices. Moreover, it was reported [30] that the molecular systems having the π-electron delocalization based on the molecular geometry could be shown the optical properties for using in the optic technologies.…”

“…This effect consists of changes in the lines of intensity, shape and position of the electronic excitations of molecular systems that are often used to infer the variation in the NLO response of a chromophore. [16,17] Thus, despite the inherent disordered character of the liquid phase, concerns about solvent effects on optical properties are not without foundation. Modeling a liquid is not an easy task since, unlike solids, there is no periodic potential and thermal fluctuations can lead to a variety of configurations, and a whole simulation of quantum mechanics like Born-Oppenheimer or Carr-Parrinello will always be limited to the inclusion of few molecules, due to the large computational efforts required.…”

“…Molecular solvatochromism is a simple example that is connected to the NLO. This effect consists of changes in the lines of intensity, shape and position of the electronic excitations of molecular systems that are often used to infer the variation in the NLO response of a chromophore [16,17] . Thus, despite the inherent disordered character of the liquid phase, concerns about solvent effects on optical properties are not without foundation.…”

“…As we all know, carbazole is a typical long-life blue emission material, whose derivatives are widely used as nonlinear optical (NLO) materials and organic room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials. 9,10 Ying Yu et al synthesized a twophoton AIE source benzothiadiazol-7-ylidene malononitrile with a D-A structure for tracking lipid droplets. 11 Niu Niu et al reported a NIR-emitting photosensitizer that targets the cell membrane.…”
