“…UTERINE neoplasia in the horse is relatively uncommon (Madewell and Theilen 1987a, Chaffin and others 1990, Van Camp 1993, Pycock 1996). Several tumours have been described affecting the endometrium, including leiomyoma (Romagnoli and others 1987, Santschi and Slone 1994), fibroleiomyoma (Broome and others 1992), adenocarcinoma (Gunson and others 1980, Chaffin and others 1990) and lymphosarcoma (Neufeld 1973b, Thatcher and others 1985, Sweeney and others 1991); several of these tumours, however, were not associated with clinical signs, and were identified solely at postmortem examination. This report describes the clinical and ultrasonographic features of a uterine T cell lymphoma in a pony which had multicentric involvement.…”

“…It most commonly affects the lymphatic system, but may also affect the liver, spleen, thoracic cavity and gastrointestinal tract (Neufeld 1973a, Rebhun and Bertone 1984, Chaffin and others 1992, Garber and others 1994). Involvement of the reproductive tract is rare (Neufeld 1973b, Madewell and Theilen 1987b, Mair and Hillyer 1991).…”
