The paper describes a mathematical model of changes in the geometry of thin-shell structures for visualization of the analysis data on their stress-strain state (SSS). Based on this mathematical model, a module for shell SSS visualization using VR and AR technologies was developed. The interactive visualization environment Unity 2019.3 and C# programming language were used. The interactive visualization module makes a 3D image of a shell structure and visualizes the SSS either through heat maps over the shell or through the changes in the shell geometry via the shell type, its geometric characteristics, and SSS analysis data (transferred to the visualization module by means of a JSON file). While working on the visualization module, the authors developed a software system that makes it possible to visualize any 3D surface with coordinate axes (including numbers with a pitch determined automatically), visualize heat maps with a graduated scale, visualize a mesh over the graph to improve the perception of the surface deformations. The middle surface deformation can also performed via SSS analysis data. This solution increases the efficiency of the work of specialists in civil engineering and architecture and can be used when training specialists in courses on thin-shell structures and procedural geometry.

A key physical parameter determining stationary directions of a magnetic moment of a single-domain ferromagnetic nanoparticle is a type of its effective magnetic anisotropy. Stationary directions of a magnetic moment of a particle change under an influence of an external magnetic field. For better understanding of a behavior of a magnetic moment of a nanoparticle in an external magnetic field, we proposed a simple method for visualization of an energy density of magnetic anisotropy of a single-domain magnetic nanoparticle. In a spherical coordinate system, an energy density of magnetic anisotropy is represented as a certain surface, which makes it possible to clearly demonstrate the presence of energy minima that determine the equilibrium directions of a single vector of magnetization of a nanoparticle in space. The cases of uniaxial, cubic, and combined magnetic anisotropy are considered in detail. The change in the total energy of a magnetic nanoparticle under the influence of an external uniform magnetic field is demonstrated.

The article discusses the combination of problems of transport system simulation and the visualization of the results of the optimization experiment. Simulation is widely used in logistics and supply chains, healthcare, transport, warehouse and transportation management, finance, business processes, service systems, railways, strategic planning and management. The paper discusses the solution to the optimisation problem for management of the intersection of roads of the megalopolis transport network taking advantage of one of the AnyLogic simulation tools. The AnyLogic development environment uses an object-oriented approach that helps in the organization and presentation of complex systems. Built-in animation tools make it easy to visualize the simulation model, as well as interpretation of the behavior of complex systems. The manuscript describes the visualization of the construction of an intersection and solving the problem of calculating the optimal duration of traffic light phases using an optimization experiment.
