Abstract:A 5-year-old girl presented with asymptomatic, progressive swirls and streaks of dark-brown hyperpigmented macules distributed in a V-pattern on the back, S-shaped on the abdomen, inverted U-pattern from the chest to the upper arm and linearly arranged on the upper and lower extremities, with relatively less prominent on the face. There were no extracutaneous manifestations. A diagnosis of linear and whorled nevoid hypermelanosis-generalized variant was made.
