Visual deterioration after endonasal endoscopic skull base surgery: causes, treatments, and outcomes

Abstract: OBJECTIVE Visual deterioration after endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery (EETS) for sellar and parasellar masses is a rare but serious complication caused by either compressive or ischemic mechanisms.
