Abstract:Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) is the most common peroxisomal disorder associated with mutations in the ABCD1 gene. Seizures, progressive neurologic deficits, hyperactivity, or learning problems are the most common symptoms in children with X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD).
