Visual outcome in cats with hypertensive chorioretinopathy

Abstract: With treatment, the prognosis for long-term vision in cats with hypertensive chorioretinopathy, even following complete retinal detachment, is good.

“…Systemic hypertension (SHP) is defined as persistently high arterial blood pressure, and it is a recognized source of morbidity in both human and veterinary patients with specific systemic diseases 1–12 .
