Legal translation is a discipline that identifies the different legal systems based on the interpretation of a text. This research was developed based on a bibliometric analysis of scientific production. The Scopus database was selected because it is multidisciplinary and brings together high-impact journals. The methodology incorporated the bibliometric analysis of 417 articles and the application of the documentary analysis technique. The results obtained show that scientific production has increased in recent years and that the most frequently used terms are legal translation, legal language, legal terminology, and comparative law. Likewise, the most productive journals in the field of legal translation belong to quartile 2. In the same line, the most productive authors have 8 registered articles and Spain is the country that stands out for the total number of articles and citations. Similarly, the skills of the legal translator were identified, who must be conceptually congruent, strategic, and multilingual. It was concluded that legal translation is a subject that is projected to continue to grow moderately in terms of scientific production. Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often encounter difficulties in language learning and utilization, a concern that has gained significant academic attention, particularly given the widespread occurrence of ASD globally. Previous reviews, however, have relied on empirical observations rather than a more rigorous selection criterion. This preliminary study seeks to systematize the scientific knowledge base regarding language development in autistic children by utilizing the analysis tool Citespace 6.2.R5. We visualized and analyzed research patterns and trends regarding autism by drawing data from the Web of Science. Through document citation and emerging trend analyses, seven key research clusters and their chronological associations are identified, along with research hotspots such as language disorder diagnosis and intervention, social communication, language acquisition, and multilingual and multicultural influences. Research findings show that there exist some issues with the current research, including small sample sizes, the need for further investigation into receptive language development, and a lack of cross-cultural comparative studies. Meanwhile, the scope and depth of interdisciplinary research on language development in autistic children also need to be further enhanced. The research contributes to the extant literature by providing valuable references for autism researchers and practitioners.

A bibliometric study of research trends in cross-border cybercrime

As digital technology prevails in crimes, academic insights have expanded to diverse issues related to cybercrimes both in China and abroad. Various jurisdictions have made efforts to get cybercrime under control, in particular, fighting against the misuse of emerging technologies in cybercrimes. In the context of cross-border cybercrime, putting one region’s criminal growth down could not live without cross-border or cross-sector cooperation. With such understanding, this paper aims to conduct a comparative study of cross-border cybercrime publications to see the research trends from the divergence and convergence of academic studies inside and outside China. Specifically, using CiteSpace (6.2.R6), this study presents an extensive bibliometric analysis of cross-border cybercrime research published during the past three decades in Web of Science Core Collections and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). The findings indicate the typical features of publications in different phases. Among others, the keywords analysis including cluster mapping and strongest burst reveals the research trend, which indicates that cross-border cybercrime is featured as possessing a complete industrial chain of online black market, with increasing application of high-tech tools and more connection with illicit financial flow. This study also examines barriers and touches upon the implications in the efficient fight against cross-border cybercrime, as well as the existing approaches like public-private partnership, mutual legal assistance and police cooperation, and global pathways to reducing conflicts among jurisdictions.
