Visualizing the cultural landscape gene of traditional settlements in China: a semiotic perspective

Abstract: China has a deep traditional culture and a long history, and is rich in traditional settlements (designated as “Famous Historic-Cultural Villages/Towns”, “Chinese Traditional Villages” by Chinese Government).
