Coal and gas outburst is one of the main dynamic disasters in coal mine production. When a coal and gas outburst occurs, a large amount of coal and gas are thrown into the mining space, causing casualties and equipment damage, and even inducing secondary disasters such as gas explosions and coal dust explosions. Therefore, it is essential to carry out relevant research on coal and gas outburst to prevent the occurrence and development of accidents. In order to deeply understand the overall research progress in the eld of coal and gas outburst, the Web of Science (WOS) database is used as the sample source, and the bibliometric analysis of the literature in the eld of coal and gas outburst from 2000 to 2021 is carried out by CiteSpace software. The knowledge maps of the publication quantity, country, institution, and keyword cluster are drawn. The results show that the time distribution has gone through three stages of germination period, development period, and growth period. Especially during 2010-2021, the publication quantity increased exponentially, which opened the golden age of rapid development in the eld of coal and gas outburst. In terms of the cooperation network, China, Australia, and USA are the main core research countries, while

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the process of Indonesia language learning is held in online in which it needs supporting technological tools and innovative learning approaches or models to create interactive and interesting learning process of Indonesia language. A bibliometric analysis was used to provide the bibliographic and bibliometric review related to the emerging trends of technology-based foreign language learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. VOSviewer and Publish or Perish (PoP) were some software employed to analyze the documents published between 2020 and 2022 from the Scopus database. The results revealed that there were 100 publications and 199 citations regarding the use of technology in foreign language learning in which the development of the number of publications and citations relatively fluctuated. Digital platforms such as learning management systems and social media applications were the trending technologies supporting the foreign language learning process. Subsequently, the trending foreign language learning in the COVID-19 pandemic implemented distance or online learning involving blended learning, mobile learning, or remote learning. Therefore, this study specifically implicates the Indonesian language learning in which teachers or lecturers can implement distance or online learning in teaching the Indonesian language to prevent the deployment of COVID-19 supported by digital platforms.

“The Statistical Analysis of Compositional Data” by John Aitchison (1986): A Bibliometric Overview

This paper presents a complete bibliometric analysis of Aitchison’s 1986 seminal book “The Statistical Analysis of Compositional Data.” We have set three objectives. The first is to analyze the academic structure of Aitchison’s 1986 book. Results reveals that although the work has received citations uninterruptedly since its publication, the number of these has increased very significantly over the past 4 years. This is due to the significant increase in the number of publications on the theme of “Compositional Data Analysis” in fields related to “geoscience” over the last few years. The second objective is to determine which main journals Aitchison’s book has been cited in. The results highlight that the main journals are indexed under the following WoS category: “Geosciences, Multidisciplinary” and “Ecology.” Of these, “Mathematical Geosciences” and “Computers, Geosciences” stand out. The third objective is to determine the main topics analyzed in the principal papers published by authors citing Aitchison’s book. Our results show that the keywords in the main papers to have cited Aitchison’s 1986 book originate from the geoscience field, since many of them are related to concepts directly linked to this field and refer to terms related to “biodiversity,” “geodiversity,” “geoheritage,” and “georesources.” Lastly, the analysis shows how the CoDA methodology is now in a phase of exponential growth, expanding to other fields. This implies that geoscience is becoming consolidated in the scientific literature as one of the branches of modern science that has given rise to a new mathematical theory of great impact.
