Abstract:Gut dysfunction is a major outcome during acute pancreatitis (AP). Some studies have reported a positive association between acute pancreatitis and peptic ulcer. The major cause of peptic ulcer is due to ischaemia reperfusion leading to oxidative stress. This study assessed the oxidative status of the stomach during AP and the role of vitamin (Vit.)
