Abstract:In the present work we studied the magnetization, vorticity, Cooper pairs density and the space distribution of the local magnetic field in a three-dimensional superconductor with a SQUID geometry (a square with a central hole connected to the outside vacuum through a very thin slit). Our investigation was carried out in both the Meissner-Oschenfeld and the Abrikosov state solving the two-band Ginzburg-Landau equations considering a Josephson coupling between the bands. We found a non-monotonic vortex behavior… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
