Wall-Proximity Effects on Five-Hole Probe Measurements

Abstract: Wall proximity affects the accuracy of pressure probe measurements with a particularly strong impact on multi-hole probes. The wall-related evolution of the calibration of two hemispheric L-shaped 3D-printed five-hole probes was investigated in a low-speed wind tunnel. Pressure measurements and 2D particle image velocimetry were performed.
