Accumulation of waste can cause environmental quality to decline, the emergence of unpleasant odors and pollution of land and water. Apart from that, plastic waste that is not thrown away in the trash can cause it to be thrown into the sea, as it happens in the sea surrounding Ternate Island. The waste management system must be carried out comprehensively, among the central government, regional government and the community, for example by establishing a digital waste house based on community empowerment activities. The aim of this activity is to improve community behavior in sorting waste at the household level so that the volume of waste reaching the landfill is reduced. Apart from that, it can increase people's knowledge and skills in managing waste businesses through the establishment of digital-based waste houses. The next goal is to improve community skills in processing inorganic waste and plastic waste as well as processing organic waste into compost fertilizer and various ecoenzyme derivative products. It is hoped that the results of the activity can initiate the formation of community entrepreneurship based on processed waste products to support circular economic activities. Activities were carried out from July to September 2023 located in Akehuda Village, Ternate City. The implementation method was socialization of waste management through counseling and at the same time assistance in processing waste. Apart from that, community empowerment was carried out by establishing a digital-based waste house. The results of the activity show that the partners already have a digital-based waste house, partner members were able to manage the waste processing business from the Marasai digital waste house, partner members have the knowledge and skills to process waste. In order to increase public interest and participation in processing waste, it is necessary to continue to carry out socialization about waste processing.

AbstrakÂ Permasalahan sampah sudah menjadi permasalahan dunia, terutama sampah anorganik dan B3 yang tidak dapat diurai secara alami, sementara jumlah produksi sampah terus bertambah seiringdengan pertumbuhan penduduk. Dari data statistik Kabupaten Semarang jumlah sampah yang terangkut mulai tahun 2019 sebanyak : 220â€‰487 M3, tahun 2020 : 247â€‰095 M3 dan tahun 2021 : 280â€‰859 M3, hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah sampah naik secara liner. Desa KebumenKecamatan Banyubiru Kabupaten Semarang menghadapi permasalahan yang serupa dengan meningkatnya volume sampah rumah tangga berdampak pada lingkungan yang kurang sehat. Meskipun sudah ada bank sampah pada wilayah tersebut namun ada beberapa kendala yangdihadapi yaitu manajemen sampah, reduce, reuse dan recycle atau 3 R belum optimal. Program PKM (Program Kemitraan Masyarakan) Universitas Dian Nuswantor dengan penerapan manajemen sampah yang efektif dan efisien dengan metode FDG (Focus Group Discussion) dan Edukasi dan Pelatihan diharapkan sampah yang terdapat diwilyah tersebut diolah baik sehingga dapat meniminalkan dampak negatif sampah terhadap lingkungan hidup desa Kebumen dan dapatmenciptakan circular ekonomi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf ekonomi masyarakat setempatÂ Kata kunci: Pengelolaan, Sampah, Manajemen, Taraf Hidup, Ekonomi

The Waste Bank is a banking concept by saving waste whose aim is not only to increase the incentives of the user community, but the main thing is as an effort to overcome problems related to waste management. The 3R (reduce, reuse, and recycle) culture should be implemented and become a habit for all levels of society. Because if you don't get used to it immediately, it will have an impact on more and more waste going to the Final Processing Site. One of these problems occurs in Pontianak City. The waste that enters the Batu Layang Final Processing Site reaches 285 tons per day in period I of 2022. This is triggered by the still not massive 3R culture and waste segregation using the Waste Bank. This problem is not only the responsibility of state actors but also non-state actors, one of which is the younger generation. This research was conducted to analyze the participation of youth as non-state actors to overcome waste management problems through the Student Waste Bank program. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data in this study were collected from literature studies and documentation studies. The results of this study found that efforts to preserve a sustainable environment have been pursued by the younger generation through the Student Waste Bank as carried out by students and alumni of Universitas Tanjungpura which has been synergistically initiated since 2021 until now. The recommendations from this research are for the government, academia, and institutions to work together synergistically to support the cultivation of 3R and the optimal use of the Waste Bank by the community.
