Watermarking Images via Counting-Based Secret Sharing for Lightweight Semi-Complete Authentication

Abstract: Watermarking is the process of embedding specific data to prove ownership copyright authentication. It is needed whenever media-files are used without proper permission is granted. The current watermarking challenge comes from the ownership proof especially as slight tampering occurs on the multimedia-file which injure the watermarking causing difficulty in its copyright proof. This paper proposes utilizing counting-based secret sharing strategy to allow validation of ownership RGB watermarking even if some of… Show more

“…Watermarking in digital media-files is becoming an essential tool for claiming responsibility regulations as well as correctness and the traditional ownership proofing [1]. In fact, audio Quran recitation authentication is in real essential need for audio watermarking to proof its narration correctness, as too many unauthentic or fake recitations are found available [2].…”

“…Consequently, the password-key is produced on color images via XORing with PRNG and gray copy, as affected by the zigzag conversion in a smart complex way. This ciphering scheme can be very related to combination of authentication strategy of e-Videos (Gutub, 2022b) and e-Audios (Gutub, 2022c) as advancing lightweight image watermarking (Gutub, 2022d).…”

“…Unfortunately, the proposed method cannot be extended or generalized to cover further genomic sequences other than protein testing of this paperwork, since the HT‐NGH method has been applied on protein only, similar to pairwise sequence alignment based on transition probability between two consecutive pairs of residues [61] as well as rigid region pairwise sequence alignments [62]. The work can further involve engineering Hash functions [63] combined with partitioning of watermarking via counting‐based secret sharing [64] as for semi‐complete text reliability [65] aiming innovative researches. Accordingly, the proposed computational protein alignment utilizing hyper threading multi‐core sharing technology method needs to be extended precisely for other genomic sequences, which are still open research applicable to give independent supplementary remarks.…”
