Wave‐Packet Dynamics in Chains with Disorder‐Type Ornstein–Uhlenbeck and Static Electric Field

Abstract: Herein, the electronic dynamics in a 1D model with correlated disorder and under the influence of a static electric field is considered. In the framework, the diagonal disorder is obtained from an Ornstein–Uhlenbeck (OU) process. The Schrödinger equation considering an initial Gaussian wave packet with width l located at the center of chain will be solved.
