Waveguide-Based Chemical and Spectroelectrochemical Sensor Platforms

Abstract: Here we review the progress in the development of waveguide-based spectroelectrochemical platforms, with special emphasis on the most recent technologies: the electroactive fiber-optic chip (EA-FOC) and chip-like spectroelectrochemical platforms using organic light emitting diode (OLED) light sources coupled with organic photovoltaic photodetectors (OPV-PD).
