Abstract: Aims Burns are usually associated with significant morbidity and mortality due to dysfunction and disfigurement. Non-fatal burns usually contribute to morbidity via burn wound infection, systemic sepsis, multiple organ failure, pneumonia etc. leading to prolonged hospitalization.
