Abstract:SummaryHybrid algorithms are an efficient and popular choice for computing the solutions of hyperbolic conservation laws. In general, hybrid algorithms involve low‐cost high‐order accurate schemes in smooth regions and non‐oscillatory shock‐capturing schemes in the vicinity of discontinuities.
