What is measured by digital revenue meters?

Abstract: Digital revenue meters are now commonly used in power systems. Lately this technology is being applied in the residential sector. It is therefore important to know what impact any new meter design will have on the rate structures and billing charges, particularly when these new meters are applied to existing clients. This paper outlines the performance of some digital revenue meters based on different definitions when applied to non-linear loads
